Creating a Website

Podcastpage makes it easy to create new websites. It takes just a few clicks to create your first website (or multiple websites if your plan supports it).

In case you haven't added a site yet, you can add one after logging in by clicking on "Add Site".

To get your site up and running, you'll need to follow a few quick steps in our setup wizard -

  1. You'll have to choose a name for the site - that's for your own reference, but it will also be used for your Podcastpage sub-domain. As an example, if your podcast is called 'The Daily Show', your sub-domain will be 'the-daily-show.podcastpage.io'. You can always modify the sub-domain later on in the 'Domains' tab, but the name stays with the site for your own reference in the admin panel.
  2. Then, you can connect/import your podcast. You can either search for the podcast in a database or manually add the RSS feed URL. As an alternative, if you don't have your podcast feed yet, you can start with a blank feed and customize the site in the meantime. Just click on the link below the large 'Import Podcast' button.
  3. The last step is to select a theme, which determines the layout and style of your site. This can also be changed later in the 'General Settings' panel under the 'Customization' tab.

Now that the new site has been created, you can begin customizing and editing various areas around it, integrating with 3rd party services such as Twitter, and more.
