Content Editor
All the content on your blog posts, episodes, videos, transcript sections, top header, footer, copyright section, sidebar, and header can be easily edited with our Content Editor.
All those areas can be edited using the built-in editor -
Toolbars
The editor includes widgets/blocks that you can add into just about any area. The "floating" toolbar includes all the different formatting and blocks you might need once you select some text -
You'll also find the main toolbar at the top of the editor (if you're using the blog post editor - you can activated via the top-right icon) -
This toolbar include a little more functionality, like the "Write with AI" shortcut, undo/redo, the horizontal line/separator, and a dropdown with all available widgets.
Keyboard Shortcuts
The editor is packed with keyboard shortcuts, so you can easily focus on writing without leaving your keyboard. For example, you can type /
on any new line in order to open the context menu (which is filterable as you type) that enables adding any custom block or widget -
When filtering with some text, only relevant elements would show up -
Widgets / Blocks
The content editor includes a bunch of standard blocks like headings, separators, embed code, images, lists, buttons etc.
On top of that, we include 20+ custom content widgets that can really help making your site unique. Read more about custom widgets here. These are dynamic widgets that can pull data from other areas of your site, like podcasts/shows, episodes, blog posts, audio playlists, social icons and so much more.
Each widget includes its own set of options/settings you can adjust as seen below -
Section / Columns
The editor includes a widget called "Section" and another one called "Columns". These widgets make it really easy to display a 2/3 column layout, or group multiple items within a section.
The section element is not necessarily visible on your live website, it's intended to make it a little easier for you to group several items and drag those together if needed.
Drag & Drop
The content editor allows basic dragging and dropping of elements around the canvas.
There's a small drag handle icon that's available on each element when you hover on top of it -
When you click and hold that drag handle, you'll find a blue line where the element you're dragging is expected to be positioned -
Adding Anchor Links
If you need to scroll to a specific position in your page, anchor links are great. You can add anchor links to your buttons, text links, or even images.
Anchors are automatically added to headings and sections.
To get started, select a heading (or click on a section) and find the "Anchor" link on the toolbar -
Once you click the anchor icon, the link would be copied to your clipboard.
Next, add the copied value to any text link, button or image link as seen below -
That's it! You'll be able to scroll right to the heading when linking to its Anchor. (note that this only works on the live site, not within the content editor)
