Comments

Comments allow your website visitors to engage with your content by leaving feedback and starting discussions on your podcast episodes, blog posts, and video pages.

The built-in comments feature is enabled by default on your website. Only signed-in members/visitors can post comments on your website. This helps both in reducing spam and increasing engagement with your audience.

(You can also use one of the 3rd party comment platforms if you prefer, and disable the built-in comments.)

How Comments Work

  • Comments are available only to signed-in members of your website.
  • Comments on premium or restricted content are only available to members who have access to the content.
  • Comments support nested replies (threaded discussions)
  • Admin replies are marked with an "Admin" badge
  • Comments appear at the bottom of episode pages, blog posts, and video pages

Managing Comments

In the comments dashboard you can view all comments, reply to existing comments or delete ones you don't want. To find your comments, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Podcastpage dashboard
  2. Navigate to the "Comments" section in the left sidebar
  3. Here you can view all comments across your website,

As the website admin, you can only publish comments from the dashboard. Your replies from the dashboard will automatically be marked with an "Admin" badge to distinguish them from regular user comments. (If you prefer, you can also create a user on the website and comment with that separate user, but those comments won't get the Admin badge)

Enabling/Disabling Comments

To turn comments on/off for your entire website:

  1. Go to "Customize" in your dashboard
  2. Select the "General" tab
  3. Find the "Comments" toggle switch
