Pop-ups & Announcements

You can create a pop-up that appears when users visit your site. The pop-up is created with a drag & drop builder so it can really be great for capturing visitors emails by embedding opt-in forms, displaying your latest episode or blog post, announce any major news etc.

Creating a new pop-up

Here are 5 easy steps to add a new promotional pop-up:

1. Visit the "Customize -> Popups & Announcements" screen.
2. Enable the pop-up option ("Popup Display") to activate the popup.
3. Click on the Edit Popup Data button to start editing your pop-up and add content.
4. Set the width of the screen you'd like to use for displaying the pop-up. (in percentages)
5. If you don't want the pop-up to display right away when loading the page - set a Pop-up Delay (in milliseconds)

A few important things to keep in mind:

• Popups on mobile are always set to full width (with some slight margins)
• Popups are always being displayed once initially (on any page), for visitors until dismissed. Then it won't show up for recurring visitors unless they change their browser session. Displaying the same pop-up over and over again isn't the best idea so we make sure it's only loaded once. (until the user starts a new session)
• You can only build and activate one pop-up at a time.
• You can add any image, video or background image to the popup, but remember it's recommended to keep a small resource-size for improve page speed.
